Prepare and post your first video
Follow a video from your editor to preparation, review and an explicit TikTok send.
3 min read · Updated November 3, 2026A first run through the complete Fulres workflow.
Before you select a file
Keep the completed export from your editor somewhere you control. Fulres accepts one MP4 or MOV at a time, up to 2 GB. A supported extension is a starting point, not proof that the media inside is readable.
Play the local export and check framing, sound and the ending. If you need to change a crop, title or audio mix, do that in the editor first. Fulres prepares container metadata; it does not provide a timeline editor or manufacture missing detail.
- The selected file is the finished export, not a proxy or messaging-app copy.
- You have an original copy outside this browser tab.
- The expected audio is present before processing.
Select the video and let preparation finish
Open Optimizer and use Select video, or drop a single supported file into the upload target. The upload card gives way to the composer once selection is valid. A preview appearing is not the same event as successful preparation.
The preparation panel distinguishes selecting, processing metadata and verifying the output. Large files may take time. Read the real phase text; if a percentage is unavailable, an indeterminate indicator does not imply a measured amount of work has completed.

Review the media column
The vertical player, filename, duration and size help identify the current file. Compare the inspected resolution and frame rate with your export. A video preview is a browser decode; a playback failure can be a codec/player issue and should not be interpreted as a successful or failed TikTok post.
Review the video with Play and Pause. Choose the final cover in TikTok after opening the inbox upload notification. Replace video starts a new preparation.
Choose where to finish the post
Upload to inbox is a handoff to TikTok’s mobile editing and posting flow. Publish directly exposes supported posting choices in Fulres. Selecting either option only changes the form; it does not authorize a transfer.
| Destination | Review here | Finish there |
|---|---|---|
| Upload to inbox | Account, selected video and explicit send confirmation. | Open TikTok’s inbox notification and complete the post. |
| Publish directly | Caption, available visibility, interactions, disclosures, cover and confirmation. | TikTok processes the request; status is separate from transfer completion. |
Connect and confirm
Use Log in to TikTok when no account is connected. The authorization popup keeps the video in its original tab. Basic sign-in and video.upload access are separate, so you may need to enable inbox uploads after logging in.
Check the receiving account before continuing. After inbox delivery, review the caption, cover, disclosures and audience in TikTok. On a public profile, choose Everyone there when you want a public post.
Read the confirmation beside the final action. A local Demo preview only exposes sample controls and cannot send videos. A real send requires the authenticated account and the necessary permission.
Wait for the right completion state
During transfer, keep this tab open. If the server reports TikTok processing, wait or check the existing status rather than starting another post. An inbox-delivered result means the next step is in TikTok, not that the video is already public.
After publication, check the public link if you want to inspect exposed playback properties. Export history stores details rather than a recoverable video copy. Workspace tabs preserve the active selection, but a page reload, a closed tab or a browser crash can discard in-memory media.
